Working my ass off today and tomorrow, then a week at the beach with no email or computer. This will be the first vacation I've had in 5 years where I wasn't expected to work at least a little bit (but only because I'm the new guy and not an expert yet). I'll take it.

Thankfully I had 2 days off for the 4th, but those two days I was working harder than I would at work, because moving. Now I’m on my second 12 hour shift in a row. I think I’m going on a nice mountain drive on Saturday. I need an escape.

Well that sounds pretty darn good. I haven’t taken more than a long weekend in over a year. My hatred for my desk is quite strong.
